LUVMI Rover Assembly

The LUVMI team recently met at Space Applications, Noordwijk for mobility and instrument testing.
Over 2 days the LUVMI rover was operated on challenging surfaces ranging from rugged terrain to sandy dunes.
The purpose of the tests was to demonstrate the autonomous mobility of the rover and operation of its scientific instruments.
The LUVMI rover's ability to traverse 50 metres was also put to the test along with how well it could navigate hazardous obstacles.
It was important to operate the rover in both day and night mode.
After several windswept hours on the beach, a very cold LUVMI team celebrated the successful results.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
